Prakash Jha is well known for dealing with lofty issues in his movies, is in trouble a month before the scheduled release of his film Aarakshan.

Aarakshan that deals with the controversial subject of reservation for minority communities has grabbed the attention of the chairperson of the Commission for National Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes (SC/ST), P.L.Punia.
Mr. Punia has asked Jha to hold a special screening of the film pre-release for him and the members of the SC/ST commission.
However, Jha has out-rightedly denied his proposition and went to comment that the commission or its chairperson is not eligible to judge his film.
Also if his film is provocative enough to incite communal indifference, beneficial or dangerous can only be judged by the censor board and not by any organization.
