This was disclosed at the 42nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa, by the film’s producer and writer Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film will be dubbed in Mandarin, the most widely spoken Chinese language.
The well known Chinese film and TV stars like Tang Wei, Wen Zhang, and Huang Bo have dubbed the film and its release is looked forward to by the audiences in China mainland with great expectations. The film had a limited engagement in October 2012 and was well-received. The film is already among the top three grosser in Taiwan and Honk Kong and has done even better than some of the well known Hollywood films. This will be the biggest ever release of a Bollywood film beyond Indian shores in the history of cinema.
