J-Hope’s solo stage turned into an emotional group reunion as Jin and Jungkook surprised fans by joining him on stage.

BTS celebrated their 12th anniversary in style. On June 17, J-Hope, the group’s bright and lively rapper and dancer, concluded his concert titled “HOPE ON THE STAGE Final” in Goyang, South Korea, which is part of the annual FESTA 2025 festival.

It was said that the concert was J-Hope’s solo show. However, things quickly turned into a full-group celebration when Jin and Jung Kook joined him, surprising the audience and the entire BTS Army (the fanbase).

J-Hope started the night as scheduled with some songs from his tour, like “Arson,” “More,” and “Sweet Dreams.” In the middle of the concert, Jungkook, who had just been released from military service two days prior, surprised everyone in the audience by running on stage unannounced.

They performed the emotional duet together called “I wonder…,” and then Jungkook’s song “Seven,” with J-Hope coming in to rap Latto’s verse.

Not long after, Jin, who is the oldest member of BTS, came on stage and quietly joined J-Hope for an emotional rendition of the BTS classic ballad, “Spring Day.” Fans in the audience erupted with emotion at seeing the boys back together again.

After performing “Spring Day,” Jin remained on stage to perform “Don’t Say You Love Me,” which is the title track from his upcoming solo mini-album Echo.

The highlight of the night was when all three J-Hope, Jin, and Jungkook performed “Jamais Vu,” which is a unit track from Map of the Soul: Persona. This was the first time the three had performed this song live together in years, so that was a treat to see.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group was seen in the VIP section, singing and dancing along during J‑Hope’s set, and especially during the hype anthem “Mic Drop.”

Fans found online videos of RM, SUGA, Jimin, V, and SUGA being super hype, highlighting the strong connection that BTS still has. And even SUGA, who has not even fully finished his military service, was in attendance, which was exciting.

BTS FESTA is an annual event celebrating BTS’s debut anniversary. It kicked off online, starting on June 1, and included offline events on June 13-14 at KINTEX and Goyang Stadium. J-Hope’s final performance during FESTA made for an even more impactful moment.

J-Hope’s encore performance, originally intended as a solo farewell, quickly became a historic reunion of sorts. Jin and Jungkook’s surprise appearances and the group’s collective presence in the crowd created a monumental memory for fans around the world.

This moment shows how strong their bond is and that we can all eagerly anticipate BTS returning together again.
